An award winning refurbishment and extension to a Doctor’s Surgery, providing additional consulting rooms, a new pharmacy and a new glazed entrance. The construction works included piled foundations, curved external walls with a rendered finish externally and plaster finish internally. The new facilities were fully finished with hygienic wall and floor products and purpose made hygienic shelving with matching storage units.
Through careful planning and prioritising health and safety, the surgery remained open throughout the works and our company was praised for its delivery of a quality build on a very tight site, whilst remaining on schedule and in budget. The project was awarded Best Community Project by the North Wales Local Authority Building Control Building Excellence Awards 2009.
