RAF Hooton Park

Refurbishment of Grade I listed World War 1, aircraft hangars.

Working closely with the Conservation Engineer and Architect to maintain the historic character of the aircraft hangars and surrounding buildings.

Hangar 1 was the construction on our jig assembled on the floor to build 32 new timber Belfast trusses and installation and associated works including removal of the existing roof structure and asbestos, temporary works of the hangar walls and doors.

Hangar 2 was the removal of existing asbestos roof coverings, major repairs the timber Belfast trusses ,hanger doors, lantern roof light and new roof coverings.

Hanger 3 was as hanger 2 above including the construction and installation of new Belfast roof truss.
