We are committed to the safety of all who set foot on and around any of our sites. Our Health and Safety Policy is issued to all employees as part of their Company Induction and our procedures are reinforced by a further induction to all employees and subcontractors on each and every site. As active members of Safety Schemes In Procurement (SSIP), Constructionline and the Merseyside and Cheshire Construction Safety Group, we continually monitor and refine our procedures to ensure our high standard of Health & Safety is maintained on all sites.
The company receives regular updates from the HSE via the Construction Infonet bulletins as well as H&S Advisor publications. Our External Health & Safety Consultant Richard Davison, Thrive Health & Safety Ltd, assists in the annual review of our Health & Safety assessments, statements and policies. He is also on hand to support our employees and give advice regarding any Health & Safety concerns which may arise. We are an ISO 45001 certified company.
Quality & Environmental
Carroll Ltd recognises the need to minimise the use of the energy resources we consume, emissions we produce and generally take in to consideration the impact which we have on others and the environment during our daily activities. We are also committed to providing a very high quality service to all of our Clients.
We have measures in place to monitor, record and reduce our environmental impact as well as maintaining our quality standards. Performance targets are set for each project which are assessed and reviewed periodically for their effectiveness. Improvement procedures are put in place if and when required.
As an ISOQAR 9001-Quality, 14001-Environmental and 45001-Health&Safety certified company, we regularly have internal and external audits to assess our compliance with the strict standards of our Integrated Quality & Environmental Management System. Our policies get reviewed at least annually by our Senior Management Team in conjunction with our Quality and Environmental Consultant Mr Richard Davison, Thrive Health & Safety Ltd. Supply Chain
The Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Construction (Design and Management) 2007 impose a duty on those placing contracts to make reasonable enquiries regarding the suitability of contractors whom they employ. Such enquiries include checks of knowledge and competence and evidence of adequate resources for health and safety.
If successful in joining our Approved List of Subcontractors, your on-site performance will be continually monitored and checks may be made against this questionnaire.
