Carrolls were pleased to be involved in the major redevelopment of the sea front area in Rhyl. The scheme transformed the once rundown coastline in to a fun-filled feature area for all of the family to enjoy. We constructed the unique and eye-catching glass brick toilet block, crazy golf kiosk and ice cream kiosk. With regard to the toilet block, there is more of the structure below ground, forming a plant room, than is visible above ground – this is where the specialist construction skills of Carrolls were demonstrated. Other aspects of the project include green roofs, lanyard system for maintenance purposes, curved walls finished with bright colours and heavy duty shutters for overnight protection.
